Behind the Landstrom moniker we find the married couple Göran Lindström and Carina Landin. A couple firmly rooted in the countryside of Jamtland, outside of Hammarstrand, but with the whole world as their source of inspiration.
Naturally, the Northern/Norrland melancholy is here, even with a hint of folk music if you listen carefully. But also influences of rock, pop and Americana. A Swedish version of Cowboy Junkies or 16 Horsepower, maybe. That is if you want to simplify things.
Landstrom is Landstrom and nothing else.
